Kristy Smith is one of the few fortunate to know what she is passionate about and have the opportunity to work in the creative realm of Interior design everyday.

The best part of the interior design business is the relationships established whether that is the client, contractor, or vendor relationship. Kristy has built long lasting friendships that go beyond the projected scope of a project. She spent 8 years designing with various firms in the Denver area and 8 years humbly establishing a strong presence in a variety of areas. These areas include Home Sweet Home Denver, California, Florida, and South Carolina.

MY HUSBAND BRET JOINED THE TEAM!!!

I’m happy to announce that I’m partnering up with my wife to head up the Operations of her Interior Design business. After spending 23 years in IT and recently interviewing with several companies, I found I was no longer passionate about working in IT. My wife Kristy is a very talented Interior Designer, but she spends most of her day managing projects, marketing, processing orders, billing, handling vendors and customer service preventing her from her true love in interior design. The DBK (DesignsByKristy.com) business already provides full house remodels from Florida to California to single room designs in kitchens and powder bath projects and this summer we will launch an eCommerce store with Kristy’s favorite furniture and accessory lines. As the business grows, so will the team and we’ll soon open a Brick & Mortar showroom to showcase Kristy’s style.
